Gratitude at 92

,
At 92, I realize that gratitude is a process that takes a lifetime to develop -- or, at least, it was a lifetime process for me.  I know now that I am grateful for all my teachers, both earthly and spiritual, that have taught me valuable lessons.

Coping with surprise

,
In what should be a time of vacations and air-conditioned summer days, the country is facing unexpected major changes. Whatever the news this summer brings, compassion for others is always needed.

Thank you

,
I'd like to express my appreciation to all those who came to the Watkinsville Marigold Festival and purchased my books.

Gentle mornings

,
i am more grateful for the early morning hours. Consider them a "gearing up" for the regular visits from Right at Home, regular exercise, and the helpful presence of Carl, my sidekick, who helps me remain active and writing these posts.

Seeing new perspectives

,
As much as we put off thinking about our decline, daily activity becomes a reminder. Aging is a time to enjoy new perspectives and notice more subtle harmonies.
