An ecology of the spirit
Humanity exists as part of an ecosystem, a web of life. In An Ecology of the Spirit (1994) I wrote that eco-spirituality is a harmony that encompasses the sacredness of nature as central to human existence.

My poetry often includes animals. They are nature’s true teachers and I am fortunate to learn from them every day. Cat Tony continues to be a centerstage Buddha in my daily routine and encourages me to stop and rest, observe and enjoy.

Wisdom comes from many sources, spirituality can be as enhanced from the words of a poet like Blake as from the teachings of the Buddha.
